Privacy Policy

Pinalytics is built and operated by Pinalytics LLC. It is a local-first app: your data stays on your device, and we collect only limited, anonymous diagnostics to fix problems. We do not sell your data, show ads, or use advertising trackers.

Your data stays on your device

The bowling data you record, along with anything you import from another app, is stored only on your device. We cannot access it. You can export it at any time, and remove it by deleting it in the app or uninstalling.

Diagnostics we collect

We use Sentry, a third-party monitoring service, to collect limited diagnostic data when something goes wrong: error messages, stack traces, the app version, the type of device and operating system, and timing for certain screens. If an import fails, the app offers to send the file you picked so we can reproduce the problem; that file is sent only if you choose to. These reports are not tied to your name, email, account, or IP address, and we use them only to fix and improve the app.

Purchases

The optional one-time Pro upgrade is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their own terms. We are told only that an entitlement was granted so we can unlock Pro features; we never receive your payment details.

How we share information

We do not sell your information. We share data only with Sentry (diagnostics) and Apple and Google (app distribution and purchases), and may disclose information if required by law.

Retention and your choices

Because your data lives on your device, you control it directly: view, export, or delete it in the app at any time, and choose whether to send a file if an import fails. We do not store your bowling data, and the diagnostic reports we receive are not tied to your identity, so we hold no identifiable information we could retrieve, change, or delete on your behalf. Diagnostic reports expire on Sentry's retention schedule. Depending on where you live you may have additional legal rights over your personal information; contact us with any questions.

Children

Pinalytics is not directed to children under 13 and is not designed to collect personal information from anyone. Because nothing we receive identifies an individual, we do not hold personal information about children.
